Hi members ,I know things have got to move forward, but there must be a few Chromatic players who would like to play some of the oldies with a melody in the tune. Some of us are getting on now and would like to help older players like myself who are dedicated to the Chromatic,to bring back some of the music of the 30s up until the 70s while we can.How do you feel about this proposal.I would hope that some of the players in their 40 to 50 range would be interested.I know that I would like to improve my playing. In the meantime keep puffing.Eric33.Our type of music seems to be dying a death.

Ah, Golden Oldies, yes, but to me that means the 50's. :)

That's 60~65 years ago!!!

(Personally, I only like a few tunes from the 'earlier' periods.)

I wish I was still in the 40-50 range :). I left that behind a few years ago!

I play almost exclusively oldies pop. I think this is the first video I posted to the new Harmonica Club site...I didn't even properly title the video. I'm asking for some slack because I had been playing the chromatic for less than two years :).

If you check my other videos here on the chrom, they are also oldies (TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY BABY, LOVE IS BLUE)

Hi Dexer, this is one of the songs that escaped me if it was in the 60s.However,you singled the notes out well and your harmonica has a good tone,am I right in saying it is a Hohner CX 12. I don't know why mine hasn't got that tone. I would hasten to say mine is one of the worse in my collection. Yours seems to be very air tight.
Anyway you played it well.Eric33.

Howdy Keith, some great songs came out in the 50s,I was out in the Far East when I was playing those tunes and they bring back many Happy Memories. It's just that I like a lot of the earlier ones as well.By the way I am still trying to get my videos over. Do I still have to get them over to You tube first? Eic33.
