The Alphabet Challenge H was full of songs from folk to movie hits. We saw 28 entries. Eric made a stack of them. We also saw many great pictures and learnt a bit of history from some videos.
Now it’s November for tunes starting with the letter I. A little more difficult as the index in most of my music books shows fewer songs. But I’m sure you all will come up with some.

My first I song is for the oldies to remember. Played on diatonic key G.
“In the good old summer time”.

You Aussies are always ahead of us, it's still October here. :p

Thought I recognised the title as a Mungo Jerry hit, but it must be a different tune, Dezzy, but sounded nice. :)

Edit: I've changed the topic title slightly, in case we want to search for it in the future.

It dates back to 1902, but recently on youtube by Connie Francis, Andrew Sisters 1949, and Bing Crosby 1977. Various singers have a different tempo.
