Still horrendously slow these past few days, different times of day, so not a peak usage issue.

(Even slower than it used to be, before you came back to join us.)

Yes, Keith, a little slower here In Aussie, but not slowed enough to worry me.

I have found loads of info on ways I can optimize the site and forum to run faster. The problem is finding time. I have a renewed interest in the site and loads of exciting plans. I want to rebuild the tabs section that we used to have and I want to look into getting the chat room back again. Dont know if anyone here remembers the HarmonicaClub Chat Room. It was the only place of its kind at the time. We were able to chat and play harmonica live with weekly events.
But work and other stuff seem to be taking up a lot of my time lately.

Hello James. It's good to see you taking an interest in the site again and thanks for leaving it open while you were otherwise occupied.

I've noticed since your recent revamp, the video embed link doesn't load. You Tube videos embed automatically but Vimeo ones don't. Previously they would embed if I clicked on the little film icon and copied in the url to the displayed message box. Now when you click on the icon nothing happens but when you hover the mouse over it, it displays two copies of the icon labelled "provider" and "Video" so there's something odd there.

Your plans for the site sound good, James. :)

Work can certainly get in the way of enjoying life, glad I'm retired now.

I'm not sure I understand the problem. Is it that Vimeo links no longer work for uploading videos. I dont have a vimeo account at the moment so I can t test right now. Can you post a screen shot of the "icon labelled provider and video"?
