Hi - I worked all my life in radio and developed a love for many kinds of music, especially traditional folk. Retired a couple of years ago and wanted to learn to play music. Been torturing a small army of folk instruments and recently remembered I bought an SP20 a few years back. Just dug it out and have been absorbing lots of info online. I think I'm hooked. Just got a copy of Harmonica for Dummies and rarin' to go.
Frank, Harmonica for dummies is a book with all you need to get well into playing. Learn the basics of getting single notes before you concentrate on tunes or you will get discouraged and drop it. When you can get a tune, no matter how “beginner”it is post it on the forum for us to see and possible advice. Keep involved and you will improve. But learning at the beginning is not easy. It can be done, so Frank, do it. Don’t be a dropout.
