Hi. Good to be back again. I was a member since March 2012. and it was only by chance I heard the club had restarted. I am so pleased about that. I got interested in the Harmonica as a kid around 10-11 years old. I had to steal-borrow the harmonica from my sister. It was a diatonic. Eventually I got my own harmonicas and I thought I was pretty good until one day I heard Tommy Reilly on the radio. So that was how it should sound. As a teenager i got my first chromatic, a Hohner. Now i could get at the semitones I had not been able to find earlier.( Of course I did not know what a semitone was.) I kept it going for some years and thought it wasn\'t too bad. If I could whistle or sing a tune I could play it (in the key of C ). But I knew it was far off from what Tommy Reilly, was doing. I played for some time , but then it seemed to die away. It was only after i retired i started to play again. This was when I discovered the World of Harmonica on the Internet. That was a new world to me and changed my life. To day playing the harmonica gives a lot of pleasure. I suffer from Parkinsons disease, so blowing and sucking is very good for me . Best regards Thor Eid
